Install the Xverse extension, create your wallet, and manage Bitcoin, Ordinals, Runes and Stacks assets right next to the sites you use. Here is exactly how to get started, step by step.
Works on Chrome, Brave and Edge · Non-custodial: you hold the keys
Why the extension
No app switching. Check balances, approve transactions and connect to Web3 sites without leaving your browser.
Hold BTC and manage Ordinals, Runes and BRC-20 tokens in one place, with separate addresses for payments and collectibles.
Xverse is non-custodial. Your recovery phrase is created on your device, and nobody can freeze or move your funds for you.
Choose Xverse on a supported site, review the request in the popup and approve it. No copy-pasting addresses.
Use the same wallet for the Stacks ecosystem, from holding STX to signing in to Bitcoin-secured apps.
The everyday actions sit on the home screen of the popup, so a transfer takes a few clicks.
Restore your recovery phrase in the Xverse mobile app to see the same accounts on your phone.
How to use it
Follow along in your browser. The whole setup takes a few minutes, and the most important part is saving your recovery phrase.
1
Open the Chrome Web Store (or your browser's extension store), search for Xverse Wallet, and click Add to browser. Only install the listing published by Xverse.
2
Click the puzzle icon in your toolbar and pin Xverse. Open it, choose Create a new wallet, and set a strong password for this device.
3
Write the secret words down on paper and confirm them when asked. Never screenshot them, store them online, or share them with anyone, including support.
4
Use Receive to copy your address and fund the wallet. To use a site, click Connect wallet on it, pick Xverse, and approve the request in the popup.
Add the Xverse extension, back up your phrase, and you are ready to send, receive and connect.
